A Warlingham landmark since 1847
The Horseshoe has been part of Warlingham life since 1847, when the original pub was built. The current building (a handsome 1938 roadhouse) replaced it, and we’ve been adding our own character to the place since joining Barons in 2010.
With weekly quiz nights, monthly live music, a private function space for hire, and Farleigh Common on the doorstep, it’s a pub that does a bit of everything well.
The pub
Inside, there’s plenty of space — the roadhouse proportions give us room for both a lively bar and a calmer restaurant area. Dogs are welcome in the garden and bar.
Outside
The front decking has tables and heated pods, while the rear garden paddock has more pods. Whether it’s a summer evening or a crisp winter afternoon, there’s somewhere comfortable to sit.
In the community
We’re involved with the Warlingham Lights Night and see familiar faces from Warlingham, Caterham, and Croydon throughout the week. It’s a genuine community pub — in the best sense.
