12 boutique bedrooms and a hidden-gem courtyard garden
Boutique bedrooms, seasonal menus, and a courtyard garden that feels a world away from the everyday. Dog-friendly bedrooms available.
The Inn at West End joined the Barons group in 2019, and it’s a different kind of Barons pub. Twelve boutique bedrooms make it one of two pubs in the group where you can stay the night. Two of those bedrooms are dog-friendly — making it a great travelling stopover if you’re on the road with your dog.
The rear courtyard garden is a genuine hidden gem: enclosed, colourful, and quiet. Heated pods, a pergola, and bench tables make it feel a world away.
The kitchen runs seasonal menus alongside the pub classics. Sunday roasts go from noon till 5pm. If you’re staying over, breakfast is included with your stay.

Dogs are welcome in the garden and bar, plus two dog-friendly bedrooms for overnight stays.

A bit of history
The pub sits on the former site of a saddlery shop, replacing the old Wheatsheaf pub. It’s been reinvented as a boutique pub with a focus on food and bedrooms.
