Walks near The Rose & Crown

Virginia Water is just a short drive away — one of the finest walking spots in Surrey. The lake, the Valley Gardens, and the Savill Garden offer routes for all abilities and seasons.

Dogs are welcome in our bar and all garden areas when you get back.

The lake at Virginia Water offers a beautiful 4.5-mile circular walk through the Windsor Great Park. The Valley Gardens are adjacent, with over 200 acres of woodland and ornamental gardens. The Savill Garden is also nearby for a more structured visit.
