The garden — with its huts, pods, play area, and all-year seating — is particularly popular for summer events.

Pub Garden of the Year 2025. Huts, pods, a play area, and covered seating that works in all seasons. For summer events, it’s hard to beat — and the all-year setup means winter gatherings work too.

The Stretch Tent seats 50, or holds 85 standing. Each of the three dining huts (Polly, Dave and Woody) seats up to seven.

The pub’s interior, with its hunting lodge character and separate spaces, lends itself to smaller gatherings. The Garden Room is heated and seats 30, or holds 50 standing. The Tudor Room seats 24, or holds 45 standing, and includes a private bar area.
